  • Administrative Assistant - Legal

    Job Locations US-IL-Chicago
  • Under direction of the Senior Counsel, Real Estate, the Administrative Assistant - Legal will provide administrative support for the Legal department.

    As the Administrative Assistant - Legal, one is held accountable to, however not limited to, the following job functions: 

    • Strong administrative skills- ability to provide administrative and clerical support.
    • Prepare and modify documents including correspondence, reports, drafts, memos, and e-mails.
    • Data entry and file maintenance.
    • Ability to juggle multiple projects with superb accuracy.
    • Exceptional customer service skills, over the phone and in person, with our customers and internal departments.
    • Strong sense of urgency and problem-solving skills.
    • Assumes additional responsibilities and performs special projects as needed or directed.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

    •  Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
    • 3-5 years of hands on administrative support experience.
    • Proficiency in Adobe PDF and Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
    • Knowledge of operating standard office equipment.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills. 
    • Strong organizational skills.
    • Success in multi-tasking while maintaining a strong attention to detail and desire to perform projects and actions with the highest quality results.
    • Ability to prioritize, work under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines.
    • Demonstrated self-starter, able to work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Ability to be proactive and demonstrate initiative in projects and tasks.
    • High degree of integrity.

    WORKING CONDITIONS

    Work performed in a general office environment.  May require extended hours.
