ShopCore is poised for growth. With internalized leasing, development, property management and asset management functions, ShopCore leases and manages 70+ shopping centers covering approximately 20mm+ square-feet across 19 states.


To support our growth, we are looking for a Leasing Director to join our Leasing team. The Director will negotiate leases, lease renewals, least assignments and amendments for an assigned portfolio. 


What you will do:

  • Responsible for negotiating leases, lease renewals, least assignments, and amendments for an assigned portfolio or region.
  • Identify and attract potential tenants through various techniques including cold calling and canvassing.
  • Prepare annual revenue budgets and projections.
  • Recommends and oversees the redevelopment of assigned assets to improve performance and grow NOI.
  • Establish and maintain positive tenant relationships.
  • Study and research retail trends, sales performance, expansion plans, and prototypes for retailers.
  • Manage third party broker network as necessary.
  • Additional responsibilities as needed or directed.
  • Automobile and airline travel required 25-50% of the time, including overnight stays.



What you should have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 5+ years experience in commercial leasing
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Success in multi-tasking while maintaining a strong attention to detail and desire to perform projects and actions with the highest quality results
  • Maintaining personal skills and establishing relationships in order to advance professional networks and facilitate communication both within and outside the company
  • Excellent communication skills, both in written format and oral presentation
  • Ability to prioritize, work under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines
  • Demonstrated self-starter, able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to be proactive and demonstrate initiative in projects and tasks.
  • High degree of integrity.
