To support our growth, we are looking for a Real Estate Paralegal to join our Legal team. This team is responsible for a variety of legal matters related to the Company's shopping center portfolio including those listed below. Ideal candidate will have experience in the shopping center industry. You will be part of a dynamic team, collaborating with talented individuals from across the organization where everyone’s opinion is heard and valued.

What you will do:

  • Draft lease amendments and renewals of leases, license agreements, research memoranda, and related documentation.
  • Provide legal functions for in-house business teams, working closely with team management to coordinate and ensure the timely production and completion of research memoranda, notice letters, waivers and other agreements.
  • Research relevant property documents (tenant leases, reciprocal easement agreements, etc.) and prepare memoranda regarding whether specific uses might violate applicable restrictions
  • Closely track, perform necessary follow-up, and regularly report out on completion of all documents.
  • Additional responsibilities as needed or directed.

What you should have:

  • 6+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong analytical and research skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Must be able to simultaneously create work product while remaining flexible to ongoing daily requests.
  • Demonstrated experience prioritizing multiple documents simultaneously, working under pressure and adhering to tight weekly deadlines.
  • Demonstrated self-starter, able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to be proactive and demonstrate initiative in projects and tasks.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • High degree of integrity.
