To support our growth, we are looking for a Tenant Construction Manager to join our Construction team.


What you will do:

  • Support Leasing with budgets, estimating landlord work, and tasks for prospective and/or current Tenant Deals. 
  • Coordinate with Architect for preparation of lease outline drawings. 
  • Review work letters and lease language to protect Landlord interest. 
  • Assist in lease negotiations with Real Estate and Legal Departments. 
  • Coordinate with consultants to ensure that lease terms of delivery are met. 
  • Prepares/Updates project status reports on a weekly basis or as needed. 
  • Review Tenant construction documents to maintain Landlord standards. 
  • Hold pre-construction meeting with Tenant General Contractors, routine site visits and punch walks. 
  • Track all projects and communicate progress to upper management to work within time frame and budgets. 
  • Travel a minimum of 30% to 50% of any given month. 


What you should have:

  • Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or equivalent preferred. 
  • Minimum of 5 years related experience in retail small shop restaurants, pad deals, big box and ground up projects. 
  • Working knowledge of retail construction. 
  • Strong Analytical Skills with the ability to multi-task and shift priorities as needed. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Self-Motivated, self-directed and capable of working independently. 
  • Exceptional organizational skills with ability to interact with tenants and other departments employees. 
  • Proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook. Preferred experience with Honest Buildings. 
  • High Degree of Integrity.
